Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

I suspect that Enphase only samples every 5 minutes back to My Enlighten (sometimes with a really long lag too), where as home assistant samples every 1 minute. That being said, the energy dashboard is also 1 - 2 hours behind as well so lag is a problem for both dashboards. At least the home assistant sensors are rapidly recording every minute.

Enphase

Setting up energy dashboard

When I go to the initial screen of the Energy dashboard, it has a series of promptsand it has the sensors from my enphase system, but they are cumulative sensors: should I choose one of these (today, 7 day, lifetime

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

@vk2him Thanks - I reviewed (and played) with your code. Big thanks! My issue is not in accessing the values but in making sense out of them. As an example a Power Factor is a ratio between Real Power (p) and Apparent Power (s). The stream contains all three properties(pf, p, s) (and for each of the phases and for "production", "net-consumption" and

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

And my dashboard is PVOutput. I have generation back to Feb 2015 from Enphase. Consumption and nett for the last 3 or 4 years, since I found that my Wattson transmitter was readable by an OptiSmart gateway, which could supply a consumption feed to PVOutput. When the new Envoy went in, I just changed the consumption feed to Enphase.

Enphase Envoy is missing measurement type for new energy dashboard

@DHoefakker I don''t think it is possible to calculate grid value directly. If the Envoy is configured with Consumption CTs, putting in the Production and Consumption sensors into the Energy Dashboard will show you any return to the Grid.

Home Assistant Energy Dashboard with Enphase

Home Assistant Energy Dashboard with Enphase Envoy and Emporia Vue. I dont have CTs installed, so my Enphase app just shows solar production. It can take up to 2 hours for new data to arrive after you configure your energy

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

@del13r I''m just getting back to supporting the Envoy sensor and have noticed from reading posts (including yours) that Home Assistant needs a third sensor for the Return to Grid value. I''m thinking of adding a sensor that would be the subtraction of the Lifetime Consumption and Lifetime Production values. I don''t have an Envoy with Consumption CTs

Enphase should support Home Assistant with a first party (Enphase

<p>Enphase has talked about being the Apple of solar in the past, but they didn''t learn from Apple on integration. Even Apple, Google, and Amazon have decided to just support a single standard (Matter), rather than each fighting for their own walled gardens of automation. Enphase will do far worse than any of those 3 for automation. Nobody wants yet another app and standard to try

My first look at the new Energy Dashboard. Amazing work!

Same, but with enPhase. Only lifetime production is shown in the list, but I think the new statistics display handles this itself. I configured my dashboard last night and this morning it''s showing kwh production on the graph, by the hour. I.e. the difference in the lifetime figure over time.

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

I suspect that Enphase only samples every 5 minutes back to My Enlighten (sometimes with a really long lag too), where as home assistant samples every 1 minute. That being said, the energy dashboard is also 1 - 2

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

Update 21/July/2023 - I have started a new topic that uses a fully manual solution I came up with using just the rest sensor for Enphase Envoy on D7 firmware. It''s a lengthy guide with lots of explanation. Hopefully it

Tutorial on Enphase/Home Assistant Integration : r/enphase

There are a lot of threads, with a LOT of information... but no tutorial of current best practices that collects any of it into a single place. My first step is just to get all the necessary sensors into

Setting up Energy Dashboard for Enphase missing

I''m trying to configure the Energy dashboard using my Enphase integration. I found a list of which entities to use for consumption, return to grid, etc. here. But the entities it mentions are missing from the drop down. I don''t

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

Adding the "Return to grid" as the same entity as "Grid consumption" actually has some logic as this is the CT is the same sensor and the integration probably ignores positive and negative values between the two respective instances. I also disagree with this CT assumption. I have found that the native HASS enphase integration calls on pyenphase to

Home Assistant Energy Dashboard with Enphase Envoy

Home Assistant Energy Dashboard with Enphase Envoy and Emporia Vue. I dont have CTs installed, so my Enphase app just shows solar production. I posted this post and it got a fair bit of attention asking for writeups, so here''s my attempt

HaCasa

Hi Everyone, I like to introduce you to HaCasa, a modern but simple UI for your Home Assistant Dashboard. HaCasa is somewhat a adaptation of @fredrikpersson92 MiniHass MKII. After seeing his work, I wanted to create something that fits my needs and style, so together we created HaCasa. I have to be honest, it''s been about 5 months since I did something with

Switching from Enphase Envoy (DEV) back to core

Hi, I''ve been using the Enphase Envoy (DEV) custom component from HACS for quite some time. I am delighted to see this integration is back in core in 2023.9.0. How do I disable the custom integration, and am I at any risk of losing sensors or long-term statistics if I do so? The energy dashboard is my most important HA use case.

Enphase Envoy with Energy Dashboard

Energy Dashboard updates once every hour. Enphase enlighten cloud updates every 15 mins. Your sensors in home assistant update every minute if using the native enphase integration. I use the sensors to create

Get battery Energy sensors for new Enphase battery

I have just gotten an Enphase Battery 5P and System controller 3 and the Enphase Envoy integration is great, I''ve been able to do a lot. However I have not been able to configure the Energy dashboard for the battery following the instructions * Energy dashboard. I found some comment (somewhere) that since I don''t have a combiner there are not battery
